ADMINISTRATIVE, CLERICAL AND PROFESSIONAL VOLUNTEERS

Professional Volunteer providing administrative supportVolunteers are a key ingredient in the success of ActionAIDS. In addition to volunteers for Immediate Seating and the Buddy Program, there are other opportunities to help. You can use your administrative, clerical, office or professional skills for a specific project or more regular activities.

What kinds of volunteer opportunities are there?

Here are some – but not all – of the areas in which we can use volunteers.

  • Human Resource professionals to review policies, advise and/or train staff, recommend appropriate courses of action;
  • Legal professionals to review contracts or other documents, provide advice to management;
  • Desk top publishing expertise to assist with marketing or publicity;
  • Computer hardware experience to upgrade or reconfigure Windows workstations;
  • Administrative or clerical experience to file, do data entry, help with mailings;
  • General or basic construction experience to do interior painting and other small maintenance jobs; and
  • Licensed electricians to install new lines for our increasing technology needs.

Job requirements:

  • Volunteers may be asked to attend a volunteer orientation.
  • Provide a resume or description of relevant experience.

If you have a skill set you believe we could use, please let us know. Send your resume to contact Anthony Morelli or via telephone at (215)981-3324. We’ll get back to you to discuss your talents and opportunities to volunteer.
